ENKA® Viscose

Fabric Origins: türkiye

ENKA® Viscose is a luxurious fabric spun from sustainable and renewable wood sources.

Manufactured in Europe combining traditional and innovative production methods, it’s a luxurious, endless yarn valued for its soft touch and skin friendliness. We choose to use ENKA® Viscose because it’s a plant-based, natural fibre made responsibly from FSC-certified cellulose from the USA, preserving biodiversity and benefitting the lives of local people.

Conventional viscose is made using wood pulp that can be harvested from ancient and endangered forests. It is also manufactured using a heavily polluting mix of chemicals that is dangerous to our health and our water systems.
ENKA® Viscose is made in Germany in strict accordance with European environmental standards and holds a Gold Level Material Health Certificate by Cradle to Cradle. It has also been selected as a responsible fibre by the Fairtrade Foundation, and can be used within certified Fairtrade Textile Standard value chains.
